Wedding Venues in Colorado Springs part I

Ideally, Dave and I would like to take a long weekend and visit various venues so we can scope them out and then decide. However, I’m not sure if we’ll both be able to get away.
Currently I am perusing possible venue websites and emailing for more information. It’s frustrating how many venues do not dedicate at least one web page to feature their wedding information. And a gallery with more than two pictures is a rarity. Makes venue shopping 1200 miles away a little difficult. Luckily, I have a good idea of the different places around town. The trick is trying to find one within my budget.
Speaking of budget, my goal is to do a wedding under $5,000. I am gearing up for DIY projects and bargain shopping. More posts on those subjects to come.
